The rainy season in Thailand is on, full force! We were on a walk around Chiang Mai this morning and it started to mist-rain, but we figured-hey, we're from Seattle, we can handle it! By 45 minutes into the walk, and at the point that we were farthest away from our guest house, it started to rain. We thought-we can tough it out! It continued to build in intensity until we got back, soaked and feeling silly for not having bought umbrellas yet. The downpour continues...when we go for lunch we will have to give in to the weather gods and buy umbrellas...
