We had a boat ride tody tht ws about 3 hours - and it was wonderful for me - for the first 2 hours I sat on the deck outside! You can see my feet hanging over the edge, and it was windy and cool. The other picture is of the "delux" luggage safety system. Basiclly, they load all the luggage in the bck of the boat, and then hope it doesn't rain. If it does, you hope your bag isn't on top. Upon arrival, our bags were thrown from the boat to someone on the dock. It was a bit nervewracking to hope your bag didn't slip and end up in the water!
We followed that up with bus ride tht we thought would be about 10 minutes, and ended up being over an hour. It was such an improvement over the last bus ride - The AC worked, we had decent seats, and the bus didn't break down! We're now waiting for our overnight trin, adn we'll be back in Bangkok for a couple of days before Lewis leaves.
