You know how when you go to Mexico and the mangey gross dogs are everywhere, living it up on the beach? Well that is how the cats are here- they're everywhere, and clearly all come from similar blood lines, since this is such an isolated area of the island. Lewis, of course, hates cats and when they are meowing outside our cabin or wandering in and out of the tables at the restaurants, I am always sure he's going to pick them up and just throw them as far as he can. Of course he would never actually touch one, so this hasn't happened yet! I think the kittens are really cute, but I think Lewis would leave me here and now if I picked one up! What a life for cats!
