On our last night in Hat Rin, we ended up getting dinner late, and I just asked for salad, and got a dream come true - a plate full of green veggies! I know - for those of you who know me taht sounds odd, but here salad usually means one piece of lettuce, two tomato slices, and three cucumber slices on the side of the plate. Or sometimes, they ask if you want "salad" on your sandwich - which includes the same three things. It was phenomenal salad -which they called Israel salad!
